This paper is about the evaluation of a sustainable rural development strategy (SRDS) aiming at the revitalization of rural areas at a regional level, namely the department of Bejaia. This mid-term evaluation program applies from 2003 to 2014. In order to target our field of evaluation, we are going to focus on one of the main tools of this strategy, namely the Integrated Rural Development Projects (IRDP), and the various decision and consultation mechanisms, the programming tools, the monitoring-evaluation, the financing, etc. on which these projects are based to become operational.
